Here's
the news, straight from the man known as the Commish.
12.27.07
We have some big news to announce here at Beer Pong Junky. Beginning
the January 10th, we will be hosting a beer pong night at Spurs
Bar & Grill in Morrison. The bar is located where Shipwrecks
Bar used to be, and has been completely updated. We plan on doing
a few weeks of playing beer pong, with the hopes of getting a weekly
league going. We look forward to seeing you there!

Colorado is finally getting rocked with some snow, which means it's
time to grab a 30 rack of some Keystone Light and stay indoors.
We have just completed a massive update, including new content for
the Picture of the Month, the Junky Galleries, as well as information
on the 2007 Stapleton Beer Pong Tournament.
Who
won? None other than:

The warm weather of the summer is starting to come to a close, and
we can't wait to get some skiing in. Our friends over at Flabongo.com
hooked us up with a Flabongo, and we have the full
review here.

The
3rd annual Stapleton Beer Pong Tournament is coming up in October.
Check back soon for the full details.

It's been a long time since there's been an update, but I made sure
it was a good one. The photo galleries have been updated with pictures
from the ABasin Beach day, along with a bunch of photos from the
D.T. Championships.
Speaking of the D.T. Championships, beerpongjunky.com
is now the official home for the best underground golf tournament
going on in Denver. For those that don't know, the D.T. Championships
are skins format tournaments that allow you to take a stroke off
for every beer you drink. "Brilliant!" It may sound crazy
and abusive (which it kind of is), but we did manage to raise over
$500 for Leukemia and Lymphoma at the last tournament.
4.04.07
Team Domination is back! Well, at least for a weekend. Mikey (a.k.a.
"Ha Ha") will be in town from April 13th-16th. There's
no big event planned, but it's safe to say that we will be playing
some 'ruit. Shoot me an email if you are interested in meeting up.
One
week later, we're heading up to ABasin to have a good time. Check
out the image below for all of the details:

It
also looks like there might be a tournament coming up. We're still
figuring out the details, but signs are pointing to house tournament
up in Louisville. Check back soon for more info.

The picture gallery set up has been completely redone. Check it
out under the pictures section. You can get pictures for everything
from the Hill in Boulder to Drinking Game Tournaments held in garages.

The St. Patty's Day Tournament was a blast, and I thank everyone
who was able to make it to the event. We had 10 teams in the tournament,
which including some classic UCBL players, such as Colter, Matt,
Keady, Kayla and Domination (not to mention team Aeron).
At
the end of the tournament the newcomers David & Aaron came out
on top, without even having lost a game.
2.21.07
There
are glimmers of some nice weather. It we can string together a couple
of 60 degree days, this might actually feel like a normal Colorado
winter. There hasn't been much beer pong lately, although there
have been plenty of UCBL reunions, with Kayla (of Team Too Hot for
TV) and Luke (of Domination) both back in Colorado.

I bet you can hear Kayla's laugh just from looking
at this picture (and visualize Luke dancing).
I
would like to send a shout out to John of Team Thunder Chickens
& Injured Reserve. He sent me an email lettting me know that
he's still rockin' some pong out in the bay area of California,
and it's good to hear that people from the UCBL are still playing,
even if the game may be played a little differently.
No
official word yet, but expect a beirut tournament around mid-March.
We're thinking a St. Patty's Day tournament of some fashion, but
check back soon for more information.

Some weekends are just more fun than others. We celebrated Yost's
birthday over the weekend, and it's safe to say that Yost got owned
by a piece of cake. A little beer pong and king's cup was played
in the cabin (that's right, we're all still 19 years old), and everyone
went home nursing a hangover.

1.08.07
Denver is still getting pelted by snow storms, and we hope everyone
is getting plenty of beer pong practice in, since there's not much
else going on that doesn't involve skis, a sled, or a snowboard.
With the focus on winter, we felt it fitting to mention that the
tables section was recently updated with the Snow Junky table.
12.11.06
The site has been updated with all of the historical information
from the Unofficial University of Hill Beirut League. Check out
the picture gallery under the pictures section, as well as all of
the old stats from under the history section.

Your source for Beer Pong (a.k.a. Beirut) in the greater Denver
area has officially launched.
